It Burns!

It burns!

It’s supposed to hit a hundred degrees Fahrenheit today. Oh, joy! I have to take public transportation in about an hour. It will still be relatively cool, but by the time I return home it will be one in the afternoon. Peak heat time. The right-wing doesn’t want to talk about global warming, but then there are all those glaciers melting on the North Pole and South Pole. They never even had a winter on the East Coast this last time. Creepy. And 98% of the permafrost in Greenland melted this summer. What does that mean? Is Greenland going to become the breadbasket of the world?

About Russell Smith

I was born at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. I find inspiration in the lives of so many people from Joan of Arc to Oscar Wilde. While my primary avocation is photography, I also enjoy philosophy, theology and most of all, history. My beloved wife, Robin Anne Smith, who passed away in 2013 is also an inspiration to me. My beloved partner, Dana is also a great support and inspiration to me. I'd be remiss if I did not mention my cats: Natasha, Maxwell, Tigger and Nigel.
